London, 28 August 2024 - Technology Desking, a leading manufacturer of trading desks and control room consoles, has joined the Furniture Industry Sustainability Programme (FISP). It is the first company in its sector to achieve membership.

What is FISP Certification?

FISP is the UK’s leading sustainability certification for the furniture industry. It is recognised for its rigorous standards and comprehensive approach to sustainability.

The certification covers a wide range of sustainability criteria, including:

• Environmental Management: Assessing the impact of manufacturing processes and promoting the use of sustainable materials.

• Corporate Social Responsibility: Ensuring ethical practices in labour, sourcing, and community engagement.

• Waste Management: Encouraging recycling and waste reduction strategies to minimise environmental footprint.
